There are many advantages of using bolts and nuts. Firstly, they allow inspection of the machine easier. Review of the welded machine is much more difficult as X rays are used to detect any defects. Secondly, they facilitate a more comfortable replacement of parts as compared to welded equipment.
If a section of any instalment requires replacement, the whole structure needs to be taken down in case of welding. In using bolts and nuts, however, only the module which has shown problem needs to be repaired.
Using bolts and nuts are cheaper than using welding. It is essential to ensure that the quality of nuts and bolts that are being used in the machinery is good as the wrong quality product can lead to loss of property.
